After months of neglect due to Eli Sairs’ departure to NYC (land of unicorn-dusted, vomit-soaked dreams for young comedians everywhere), the 3 Chord Comedy showcase at Velvet Lounge returns this month, booked by the able Hillary Buckholtz. Which means, OMGZ, that there is a female-managed comedy show in town that is neither gyno-focused NOR at the Improv (not that there is anything wrong with either).

The November 19th show will be headlined by Andy Haynes, whose recent Jimmy Fallon appearance is viewable above. The show will also feature the aforementioned Buckholtz, Scott Moran, Courtney Fearrington, and Mike James (the artist formerly known as Mike Eltringham, of “opening for Screech” fame).

The show starts at 7PM and costs a mere 5 bucks.
