Harriette Walters, who embezzled millions and millions of dollars from the DC Tax Office, will be sentenced this morning to a term between 15 and 18 years in a plea arrangement. Here’s hoping they throw the book at her.
Update 1 [12:15pm] Walters got 17.5 years in jail for her crimes, just short of the maximum.
