All those sighs of relief you hear today are coming from the National Zoo which won a 5-year accreditation for the Zoo in Northwest, as well as their Front Royal, VA facility for research. The Zoo has made $100M in upgrades since their last application in 2003, and should debut several new exhibits and habitats before their next application in 2013.
