20 people were injured, 1 seriously, by a green line train that derailed at Mt. Vernon Square station this evening. The station is now closed according to the Metro Service Delays page, and there’s a good chance that will affect tomorrow’s commute on the Metro. Be wary if you’re on the train tomorrow, there’s a good shot the yellow and green lines will be a bit messy.
