October around here is the best time of year, in my opinion. The leaves change, the air is crisp, and everything is in transition for the upcoming winter. It actually reminds me of a passage from “Hymn to Intellectual Beauty”:
The day becomes more solemn and serene
When noon is past–there is a harmony
In autumn, and a lustre in its sky,
Which through the summer is not heard or seen,
As if it could not be, as if it had not been!
– Percy Bysshe Shelley
Hope you had a great weekend! Here’s to a great week, one and all.

interesting…breathtaking photos
La Tur, Where are the people praying at the NATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER?
Hmmmm…BEN…you sure those are cat tails at the park? They look like kitten tails.
Thanks so much for using my photo. If anyone is curious, that’s the Dupont Circle metro.
