Check out the bbq action in Petworth. Over at a friends house we are getting all pro on the grill. We got apples with cloves coming up on the charcoal. Next are plantains and kabobs. Desert is gluten free brownies.
This is the only way to enjoy a 70 degree Sunday in March.

The plantains didn’t come out all that well, but I think it was the post-grill mixology that went wrong. The apples were great – spiced applesause!
The plantains on the grill were dry – so the mixology was required. With more liquids, cream, or some broth they would have been good. More like mashed potatoes. Just wait until the next time I grill.
