Hot tip for those headed home via Georgia Avenue NW up past New Hampshire Ave: an accident just closed north boundlanes at Upshur Street.

It just happened moments before my arrival and now the cops are detouring cars through side streets.

I would suggest North Cap or 16th as alternate routes till 7pm.
