295 is now closed at the Eastern Avenue overpass north and south bound, as a construction vehicle has hit one of the support beams and the District is concerned that the overpass may not be safe. They’re rerouting traffic around on the service road to the south, but if you’re heading north, traffic must exit at Burroughs. No word yet on how long this will be closed but apparently a bridge team is en route.
