Pershing Park

Pershing Park

It’s hot out there. Really hot. 95 and humid, hot. So, what do you when it’s hot? Usually, I cower in the air conditioning, praying that the power won’t go out. Of course, the other option is to head out somewhere near a body of water, as they have a cooling effect on the nearby air. So today for lunch I walked over to Pershing Park and sat in the open air by the pond there and watched the ducks frolic. Not at all shabby.

I live and work in the District of Columbia. I write at We Love DC, a blog I helped start, I work at Technolutionary, a company I helped start, and I’m happy doing both. I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and gardening. I grow a mean pepper, keep a clean scorebook, and wash the dishes when I’m done. Read Why I Love DC.
